At TotalDobe, we will only allow litters to be listed from responsible breeders who care about health, structure, and working ability. Our criteria is very high, and we realize this will eliminate some nice breedings. It's not our intent to make judgements on breeders who have dogs not meeting these criteria, merely to ensure that each litter listed on Totaldobe is truly special. Totaldobe really isn't a site for sales but rather for information. It goes without saying that albino breeders are not welcome.

These criteria apply to any dog of any age offered for sale through this site.

Required Sire and Dam Information (or in the case of a dog for sale, information required for that dog).

Health

OFA Hips, OFA Thyroid, Cardiac exam (including date and type, i.e., echo, holter), vWD status, CERF. Dogs do not have to have passed or have a specific grading on any test, but the data must be open information.

Structure

A finished championship or pointed toward a championship in a legitamate kennel club, such as the AKC, Canadian Kennel Club, etc., or at least one CC from the UDC. A German-style Fit for Breeding Test (FFB, AFFB, GFFB, ZTP, Koreung) is also acceptable. In the case of the latter, the conformation grading must be listed.

Performance

Working Aptitude Test (WAE/WAC/ROM) and/or United Doberman Club ATT or STT, and/or FFB, AFFB/GFFB/ZTP, Koreung. In the case of the latter, temperament grading must be listed. Or a schutzhund or IPO title of SchH1/IPO1 or above. The ATTS TT is also acceptable.

In addition to the temperament evaluation, both sire and dam must have some sort of working title. Instinct tests (i.e., herding instinct) are not counted as titles, nor is the CGC. TDI certifications are considered if proof of actual therapy work can be provided. SAR certified dogs are welcome. Basic levels accepted include CD, BH, NA, etc.

Any breeder submitting false information will have the ad withdrawn without notice. No refunds are given on any litter ads. Litter ads are listed for 2 months. We reserve the right to reject any ad at any time.

TotalDobe is serving as a resource. Any and all claims made by breeders are the responsibility of those breeders alone. TotalDobe is in no way responsible for any problems with any dog or product advertised on this site and cannot be held liable. However, if it is found that a breeder or advertiser is not responsible, they may be removed from this site.
